About the role
The Hospital Assistant/Cook supports the delivery of an efficient and effective cleaning service to the patients and facilities within the Health Service and may be required to cook and/or prepare refreshments for patients.
The work hours consist of shift work, on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
You will need to be reliable, punctual and energetic, physically fit, have a caring and supportive attitude and use your good communication skills to be able to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Remaining calm in emergencies and the capability to handle equipment such as wheelchairs, beds and other medical equipment is also valued.
