Coordinator - Children's Contact Service
Centacare Family Services are currently seeking expressions of interest to fill the position of Coordinator for our Children’s Contact Service, based in Geraldton.
The purpose of the Children’s Contact Service (CCS) is to provide supervised contact and supervised changeover services to families who are experiencing conflict or difficulties post separation.
This is a full time position working Monday to Friday, with occasional self-rostered 3hr weekend shifts (paid at penalty rates).
A remuneration package based on the SCHCADS Award 2010 will be offered based on skills and experience; level 5, $49.28/hour plus penalties (as applicable), superannuation and salary sacrifice option.
Selection Criteria: Qualifications
* Formal qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Child Services, or Human Services, would be well regarded.

* Experience with intake and risk screening of clients, in a case management based environment.
* A demonstrated background working with children and families with complex conflicts and issues.
* Ability to work in a non-judgemental and neutral way.
* High level of written and verbal communication skills, including writing of complex reports.
* Knowledge of family law, post separation conflict, and family violence.
* Ability to work within the philosophy and ethos of Centacare.
* Experience in the management, supervision, and development of team members.
Successful applicants will hold, or be able to obtain, a WA Working with Children Check, National Police Clearance no older than 12 months, and a current WA Driver’s License.
