Finance Professional
We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Professional to provide analytical and financial support across our aviation portfolio. This role is central to performance analysis, financial modelling, commercial decision-making, and ensuring the integrity of aviation revenue and pricing data.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will act as the primary contact for all Aviation Accounting matters and play a key role in budgeting, reforecasting, airline pricing, and business case development.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as the main point of contact for all Aviation Accounting matters for our organization and related entities.
* Manage all financial components of Airline Service Agreements (ASAs), including reconciliations.
* Process budgeting, reporting, and month-end aviation revenue accounting entries.
* Calculate airline pricing using the Building Blocks Model (annual and long-term).
* Support airline pricing negotiations and annual airline information sharing.
* Provide Aero inputs into corporate valuation, long-term strategy, and financial analysis.
* Ensure accuracy of Aero-related data in the TechOne system.
* Manage month-end aero accruals, invoicing, and cost allocations.
* Prepare business cases for the Aero Capex Program.
* Calculate annual SSC and PLAGS charges.
* Support ADG's annual budget and reforecast cycles, coordinating finance stakeholders and timelines.
* Complete monthly SSC & PLAGS reconciliations.
* Support other recurring financial tasks.
* Ensure compliance with legislation, accounting standards, and internal policies.
* Identify issues requiring specialist input (Tax, Legal, Insurance).
* Support internal and external audits.
* Identify and manage risks in line with the ADG Risk Management Framework.
* Promote safety, sustainability, and cyber-security awareness.
Requirements
Our ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in business, Commerce, Accounting or Finance. They must have strong experience working with complex spreadsheets, demonstrated analytical capability, and a proactive problem-solving approach.
They should also possess excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to work effectively in a small, fast-paced team. A high attention to detail and strong financial and commercial acumen are essential.
Proficiency in Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint is required. The ability to obtain an ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card) and pass an AFP background check is necessary.
Experience in aviation, transport, infrastructure, or other complex corporate environments is highly desirable. Experience working with TechnologyOne, SAP, Infor, or related software is also advantageous.
