The Opportunity
Our Lysaght business is looking for a Operations Supervisor to join Afternoon shift based in Archerfield, QLD. Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects.
Using 100% Australian made steel, you will play a key role in delivering quality products to our customers when they need them by leading the day to day running of the facility and ensuring safe, efficient and reliable performance across the site.

What Will You Do?
Overseeing the afternoon shift, (4pm to midnight, Monday to Friday) you will:
* lead and supervise our operations area including production, machine operation, loading and maintenance in collaboration with our shift supervisors
* support and assist your team with daily operational activities
* initiate and lead site improvement projects
* identify opportunities to improve efficiency, performance and mitigate risk - striving for on time delivery for our customers
* ensure safety standards are continuously evolving, championing change when risks and opportunities are identified
* grow and mentor your team to develop their technical capability and cross-skill team members
