CMBM (Clean, Maintain, Build, Manage) is a well-established Queensland owned and operated Facility Services and Cleaning company, enjoying continued growth throughout the state.
To support our business development, we are looking for a new Leading Hand/Cleaner to help manage our site, Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal in Mackay.
You will be responsible for overseeing the high level of cleaning provided to the site whilst leading and supervising your team in this hands-on role.
Can become permanent part time for the right candidate.
Key details:
Shift timings: Monday to Friday 6:00 am to 1:30pm
Key responsibilities include:
* Strict compliance with all CMBM and Client's rules, policies and procedures
* Provide and ensure a high standard of all cleaning in and around the site
* Train and mentor staff onsite
* Develop a strong working relationship with the Client
* Manage OH&S compliance and periodical cleaning activities across the site
* Ensure budgets are managed in accordance with contract hours
* Manage the staffing rosters and ensure hours are recorded accurately
Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate:
* Prior cleaning and supervisory experience with the ability to train and lead a team (essential)
* Must have a valid Driver's Licence
* Must have own reliable transport
* Excellent time management
* Sound understanding of OHS in the workplace preferred
* Exceptional customer service / client focused
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* High attention to detail
