**What can I expect?**

As the Program Lead for the National Lung Cancer Screening Register (NLCSR), you will:

- Be responsible for program input on all Register services associated with the delivery and operations of the NLCSR including participant recruitment, participation management, screening management, screening assessment management, screening diagnosis management, outcome management and manual processing.
- Contribute to writing specifications and performing acceptance testing for Register upgrades.
- Develop and update operational procedures and related documentation to support change initiatives.
- Work with the Training Lead to provide input and conduct where relevant, staff training on new and updated policies, procedures and systems.
- Perform quality assurance activities to ensure the integrity of the Registry, data, processes and systems.
- Assist and support the data and health information team with the coordination of data management and related activities.
- Provide leadership for strategic and operational projects within the NLCSR.
- Perform and coordinate quality and audit activities related to the NLCSR.
- Actively participate in and assist with special projects relevant to the NLCSR.
- The primary outcomes of this role include ensuring the successful implementation of the Lung Cancer Screening Register within the NCSR in accordance with population health screening principles and program requirements through the delivery of program advice and expertise.

**About you**:

- Minimum 10 years' experience in delivering population-based screening programs, preferably in cancer screening.
- Strong understanding of the public health system.
- Quality leadership skills for effective planning, monitoring, organization, and prioritisation of work.
- Highly developed data analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
- Commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards in healthcare.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations and standards governing healthcare initiative
- Prior experience in managing relationships with government stakeholders.
- Experience in software implementation projects and understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
- Bachelor 's degree in a relevant health discipline with postgraduate qualification in public health e.g. Master of Public Health, Health Policy or Health Information Management (or equivalent).
