Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the community's civil and transport infrastructure.
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure designated areas remain safe, tidy, and defect-free.
1. Install and replace road signs
2. Repair pathways, kerbs, and channels
3. Replace manholes
4. Conduct fence repairs
5. Replace lintels and grates
6. Repair headwalls
7. Fix traffic island defects
This hands-on role offers variety and the satisfaction of seeing immediate results. You will work closely with a crew leader and contribute directly to the upkeep of our civil and transport infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Knowledge and physical capability to perform manual tasks safely
* Recent experience in a manual position
* Experience maintaining similar infrastructure/performing similar tasks
* Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
In addition to these skills and experience, successful candidates must possess:
* A current truck licence (minimum MR – medium rigid)
* A Construction Induction Card
