What you'll be doing
As a Clinical Support Officer Level 3, you?ll play a pivotal role in keeping ward and unit operations running smoothly, enabling clinical staff to focus on patient care.

* Support Nurse Unit Managers with workforce administration including rostering, recruitment, leave and payroll

* Provide timely and accurate administrative and data entry support related to patient care activities

* Assist with financial, quality and performance reporting

* Coordinate purchasing, equipment maintenance and stock control for medical supplies

* Support meetings, accreditation activities, incident management and other ward-based administrative processes

* Holds or is willing to undertake a Certificate III in Health Administration

* Excellent communication skills including accurate spelling, good comprehension, confidence in the spoken word and ability to deal confidently and courteously with people at all levels.

* Demonstrated experience in word processing, spreadsheet and database software

* Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines

* Capacity to work under broad supervision and to undertake a diverse range of tasks as an effective member of a team in a high-pressure, high-volume work environment

* Experience with computerised rostering systems (HealthRoster).
