A Day in the Life
- Personal Care: Assisting with hygiene, grooming, dressing, mobility, eating, and safe transfers
- Domestic Assistance: Helping with cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and light gardening
- Social Support: Providing companionship and encouraging engagement through conversation and activities
- Transportation: Supporting clients with shopping, appointments, and community access
What You Bring
- Previous experience in community or aged care support (including domestic duties)
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Aged Care (with transcripts)
- Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Current driver\'s licence and access to a registered, insured vehicle
- Willingness to travel up to 45 - 60 minutes
- Full COVID-19 vaccination highly desirable
- Minimum 20-30 hours per fortnight, with potential to increase after probation
- Flexible shifts between 7:00AM and 7:00PM
- Ideally available 3-4 weekdays, including Fridays
- Alternating weekend availability highly desirable
- Successful applicants must complete a National Police Check and provide proof of work rights in Australia
