Our client, BE Stearne & Co Pty Ltd, is seeking experienced Glaziers to join their team. The role involves preparing, assembling, and installing aluminium-framed glass windows and doors for residential, commercial, and architectural projects.
Responsibilities
* Read and interpret cutting sheets and job orders
* Measure, cut, and handle glass safely and accurately
* Fit glass into aluminium frames for windows and doors
* Install seals, gaskets, and apply silicone for water- and air-tight finishes
* Work with various products including:
o Sliding and awning windows
o Double-hung windows
o Sliding and bifold doors
o Entry doors (residential and commercial)
* Fit basic hardware (locks, handles, rollers, etc.)
* Follow daily schedules and job priorities
* Maintain a safe and clean work environment
* Handle and store glass correctly to avoid damage
* Collaborate with the installation team to ensure timely completion
Requirements
* Previous experience in glazing preferred
* Ability to read and understand job specifications
* Strong attention to detail and teamwork
* Commitment to Workplace Health and Safety (WHS)
