Job Description

As a Foster Care and Kinship Manager, you will lead a team of professionals in delivering trauma-informed case management services. You will oversee the provision of permanency services to ensure the best outcomes for children, young people, and their families.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the NSW Permanency Support Program and experience working with Children and Young People in Out-of-Home Care (OOHC). They will be an empathetic and caring individual who can provide guidance and support to staff members, ensuring a cohesive and nurturing work environment.

The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to develop and implement effective support plans tailored to individual needs. The successful candidate will stay updated with industry developments and best practices, applying them to enhance the program's effectiveness.


Key Responsibilities

Required Skills and Qualifications

* A Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related discipline
* A minimum of five years of experience working with Children and Young People in OOHC
* Experience in working with Aboriginal young people, their families, and their communities
