The Role:
The Registered Nurse - Community will strengthen health outcomes through the provision of safe quality, clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients/clients, their families, and other health professionals within the defined community practice area.
* Provide nursing care in a client's home.
* Care includes wound care, including complex chronic wounds and/or acute surgical wounds.
* Palliative care including end of life to clients in their homes.
Details of Appointment:
Fixed term part-time, day worker position, working up to 12 hours per fortnight, from 2 February 2025 until 4 October 2026. Hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full-time, part-time, and casual vacancies.
Salary:
$78,179 to $105,995 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
* Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
Access to the Grade 4 salary range $99,455- $105,995 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4.
* Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type.
Salary Packaging:
You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
* Remote and Rural Professional Development Allowance of an additional salary allowance of 4%.

Minimum Requirements:
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
* Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
