Job Description: Health and Physical Education Teacher Leonora District High School (DHS) is seeking a dedicated Health and Physical Education Teacher for a permanent full-time position starting Term 2, 2025. Located in the Goldfields-Esperance region north of Kalgoorlie, the school caters to students from Kindergarten to Year 12, with a strong emphasis on embracing Aboriginal cultural standards.
Role and Responsibilities: Teach Year 1 to 12 Health and Physical Education classes, including a small number of students across two high school classes (Year 7-8 and Year 9-12). Collaborate with the Specialist Team to plan and deliver high-standard health and physical education instruction. Implement On-Country Learning Experiences and curriculum planning. Support the development of team skills through interschool event training, including leading carnivals such as athletics, cross country, winter, and swimming carnivals.
