Our EnergyCo NSW Planning and Communities team is currently seeking to appoint a Communications and Engagement Project Officer to work on a range of exciting communications and engagement projects.
This will include working on communications about Energy Co’s important work in leading the delivery of Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) across the state. You’ll also be helping with our digital tools including a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
The role is multifaceted and you’ll be working on a range of projects as well as supporting our Executive with public engagements. It’s a busy team doing interesting work to help transform our energy future.
About You
To excel in the role, you possess strong experience in communications and stakeholder engagement. Key experience includes working on communications campaigns and strong writing skills for a range of audiences. You will need excellent skills in a range of digital communications tools, with an ability to learn new systems. Experience with a CRM would be useful.
You bring strong communication skills for engaging effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. The ability to operate flexibly in a high-workload environment managing tight deadlines and competing priorities to balance urgent requests are key attributes for success in this role. You demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement, contributing to the enhancement of internal processes and the overall quality of our communications and stakeholder engagement.
Knowledge and Experience
5. Demonstrated experience in communications and engagement roles

6. Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
7. Demonstrated experience in providing project management and operational support
Who we are?
EnergyCo is responsible for leading the delivery of more than 14 gigawatts of new transmission capacity, coordinated with renewable energy and storage, including in five new REZs and two priority transmission infrastructure projects to date.
We are responsible for the on-ground infrastructure needed to bring new renewable energy online at the scale and speed to meet our transformation objectives in the Electricity Infrastructure Investment Act 2020 and NSW Network Infrastructure Strategy.
