About the Role

Humanity Health Group is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our multidisciplinary team in Launceston, Devenport & Burnie. This part-time or full-time role will be responsible for providing essential mental health and social support services to our diverse client base.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our patients while contributing to the strategic objectives of our organisation.

* Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
* Provide one-on-one counselling and psychotherapy to help clients manage mental health concerns, emotional challenges, and social issues.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate holistic care for clients.
* Maintain detailed client records and ensure compliance with all relevant professional and legal standards.
* Contribute to the development and delivery of group programs and workshops.
* Engage in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices.


Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for an individual with:

* A relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work or Psychology.
* Current registration with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) or the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Demonstrated experience providing clinical services in a healthcare or community setting.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to empathise and build trust with clients.
* Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
* Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining client confidentiality.
