Prompt Contracting & Fencing are currently looking for a Carpenter to join our team based in Karratha.
You will be responsible for constructing, erecting, installing and repairing structures and fixtures of metal, wood, plywood and wallboard, using carpenters hand tools and power tools.
Tasks include:
* Manage construction crew
* Carry out and coordinate all aspects of commissioning and decommissioning of demountable housing
* Study plans and specifications and determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures
* Assemble prepared wood to form structures ready to install
* Screw/fix fascia panels, screening, flashings and fitting wall cladding and door and window frames
* Check vertical and horizontal alignment
* Interior & exterior building maintenance
* Erect frameworks, roof framing and scaffolding for patios
* Post and panel retaining
* Operate machines and hand tools to fabricate wood structures and from time to time brick & steel structures
* General labouring when required
To be considered for this role you will need to have at least 3 years' experience as a Carpenter.

A remuneration package between $80,000 to $120,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
