About the role
We are seeking an experienced Semi Trailer Driver to join our dynamic team at Trucking Crane Trucks' in Coolum Beach, Queensland. As a full-time Semi Trailer Driver, you will play a vital role in our road transport operations, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of goods across the region.
What you'll be doing
1. Safely operating semi-trailer trucks for the transportation of various cargo and materials
2. Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in proper working condition
3. Adhering to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure the safe delivery of goods
4. Maintaining accurate logbooks and trip records
5. Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles as required
6. Reporting any issues or incidents to the appropriate supervisors
What we're looking for
1. A valid Heavy Rigid (HR) or Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence
2. Minimum 2 years of experience operating semi-trailer trucks in a commercial setting
3. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
4. Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Good communication and customer service skills
