Join a values-driven team where your work will directly inform strategic decisions and improve outcomes for members and communities.**About the Opportunity**Successful candidates will contribute to a range of actuarial and analytics projects including:* Developing and maintaining models for product pricing, forecasting, and claims performance* Applying statistical and actuarial techniques (e.g. GLMs, experience analysis) to support product and portfolio decisions* Extracting and preparing data to support reporting, modelling and performance analysis* Supporting reporting obligations including regulatory and statutory requirements* Generating insights to improve member value, retention, and health outcomes**About You**We're looking for candidates with a mix of the following:* **5–15+ years' experience** in actuarial, analytics, or data science roles* Strong analytical and statistical skills – experience with **R, SAS, SQL, Python**, or equivalent* Solid understanding of **insurance risk (PHI preferred)*** Excellent communication skills and the ability to turn complex analysis into actionable insights* Tertiary qualifications in **Actuarial Studies, Mathematics, or Statistics*** **Associate or Fellowship** status with a recognised actuarial bodyIf you have any questions about this position, please reach out to the careers team at **careers@gmhba.com.au.**At GMHBA, we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone feels respected, valued, and empowered to be their authentic selves.
