Reporting to the Dispatch Coordinator, we are currently looking to fill the role of Truck Driver / Glass Worker based at our Rokeby site. This is a permanent full-time position, and will ideally suit a hands-on, self-motivated person with experience in the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:
Delivery Runs
* Operating local deliveries to our customers
* Loading and unloading glass products
* Unpacking of glass products and stock movement around the factory
* Operate truck safely according to Viridian requirements
* Champion a safety first culture in pursuit of a zero harm environment
Glass Production
* Cutting float and laminate glass by hand and by machine
* Using an overhead gantry crane for loading and unloading of glass
* Using a forklift for loading and unloading of glass
* Edging and polishing of flat glass
* Manual handling and processing of glass products
Key requirements to succeed in the role:
* Previous processing, manufacturing or production experience is desirable
* Current MR licence is required
* Forklift licence would be an asset but is not essential
* Knowledge of the glass industry would be an advantage
