**Harley Eye is one South Australia's most respected group of Ophthalmologists, consisting of 4 Surgeons and more than 12 staff members. Head quartered at North Adelaide and offering clinics at Glenelg and Victor Harbor, Harley Eye provide expert care in advanced cataract surgery, medical laser procedures, glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic eye disease as well as numerous other eye conditions. A practice that prides itself on highly ethical medical philosophies and supportive of South Australian, overseas and indigenous sight saving initiatives, we are looking to appoint the key role of Practice Manager to lead our practice and continue our efforts locally and abroad.**
Providing leadership of the Partner and staff including business planning for development of the Practice, this role with have responsibility for the implementation of and oversight of staff management systems and processes; financial management and reporting; and ensuring that the business Practices are efficient and progressive. Tasked with the responsibility to plan, implement and evaluate strategies that are aimed at achieving key performance targets that reflect the vision and goals of the Partners, this role with have the challenge of balancing both operational needs of the business, developing the HR function and building upon business improvement opportunities for Harley Eye.**Key Areas of Responsibility**:
**Human Resources**
- Development and maintenance of contemporary human resources systems to promote the development of staff and ensure that relevant legislative requirements regarding employment are met
- Assist with recruitment, training and professional development of our valued team
**Business Improvement Initiatives**
- In consultation with the Partners, ensure that strategic and business planning is effectively undertaken, implemented, monitored, and reviewed with a focus on broadening the existing referral base
**Financial Performance**
- Perform accounts, finance and accounting function with assistance from external accounting firm
- Preparation of annual budgets and monitoring of the Practice's performance against the budget
- Providing periodical reports and analysis of financial performance to Directors
**Quality & Risk Management**
- Ensure that the Practice complies relevant Standards, and that processes and systems are continually developed
Ideally suiting an individual with a high level of interpersonal and communication skills, the incumbent will be trusted to work with a high degree of autonomy and self-directedness. Applicants offering experience in leadership roles within Specialist, GP, Day Surgery or Hospital setting will be highly regarded. **Salary**: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
