Occupational Therapy Leadership Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to take on a leadership role within our team. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for providing occupational therapy services to our clients and their families, working closely with the client's care team to assess, set goals, develop solutions, provide interventions, and evaluate client outcomes.

You will also have the opportunity to lead and oversee a high-performing team, taking a key role in annual appraisals and development plans, in accordance with the career pathways framework. Key Responsibilities:

* Provide occupational therapy services to clients and their families, including assessment, goal setting, solution development, intervention provision, and outcome evaluation
">
* Lead and oversee a high-performing team, taking a key role in annual appraisals and development plans
">
* Drive company culture and values through leading by example
">
* Ensure that all staff are operating within safe operating procedures and wearing appropriate PPE
">
* Conduct regular and ongoing training, safe work practices, and cross-training
">
* Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to colleagues
">
* Provide high-quality customer service to clients and external stakeholders
">
* Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of practitioners, directors, staff, and clients

About You:
">
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in occupational therapy, including at least 6 years of experience in providing clinical services to complex clients and situations. You will also need to have strong relationship and people management skills, with the ability to develop trust and credibility with colleagues and clients.
">
Able to build relationships, manage and inspire confidence with staff, and provide patient-centred practice, you will also need to have excellent attention to detail and quality management skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, OT drawing programs, and client management software is also essential.

We are looking for someone who is punctual, reliable, and committed, with a good working knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and its requirements.
