This is a Visiting Medical Officer opportunity with our health service.
We are seeking experienced General Practitioners to provide specialist services to our patients in a rural setting.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be required to work as a Visiting Medical Officer, providing contemporary, comprehensive and professional specialist services that are safe, effective, evidence-based and patient-centered. This will include admitting, consultative, diagnostic, procedural, outpatient, telehealth and on-call services as required by the health district.
You will also be responsible for providing education and participating in research as required.
Key Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need to have a primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and Fellowship of RACGP/ACRRM/RACP and/or overseas trained specialist pathways. You will also require recent and comprehensive experience in General Practice, strong communication skills, teamwork, management ability, professionalism and advocacy.
