Overview
SSP Waterproofing Pty Limited is a specialised roofing company supplying and fitting single ply applied PVC sheet and Class 3 liquid-applied roofing and waterproofing services to commercial and industrial constructions in Sydney. We require a full time Roof Tiler / PVC Membrane Roofer based in Sydney, NSW.
Responsibilities
* Construction, erection, installation, renovation and repair of commercial and industrial single ply applied PVC sheet and Class 3 liquid-applied roofing and waterproofing coverings and structures to form a secure, protective and waterproof surface.
* Work at heights with use of safety equipment and PPP equipment at all times.
* Use of power and hand tools including hand and power operated saws, measuring equipment, hammers, nail guns, levels, nails and other fixtures including gang nail, tech screws, bolts, brackets and metal rivets.
* Knowledge and experience with elevated work platforms (EWP) is required.
Qualifications
* Relevant trade qualifications or 3+ years of relevant employment.
* Min. 1 year experience in roof tiling/fixing using single ply roofing materials.
* Work effectively and sustainably in the construction industry.
* Apply OHS requirements, policies and procedures in the construction industry.
* Manual dexterity and a valuable sense of balance.
* Ability to work at heights safely and efficiently at all times.
* Strength and stamina to work with heavy tools and materials.
* Strength to move heavy ladders or set up scaffolding.
* Plan and organise work.
* Conduct workplace communication.
* Carry out measurements and calculations and desire to do an exact and thorough job.
Location & Compensation
Work Location: In person
Pay: $78,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
