The role
The Project Engineer on the project will assist with coordination of on-site construction engineering activities to ensure short-term planning and programming is completed in conjunction with site supervision. You will get to learn and develop your skillset across structure, finishes, facade & services which is great for career advancement.
Duties
* Assist in technical review of plans
* Assist with monthly reports
* Attend project meetings as required
* Manage the administration of all site registers
* Manage site inspections
* Support the Site Manager in program activities
* Provide input around procurement issues
Ideal applicant
* Tertiary qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Quantity Surveying or trade qualified with significant construction experience
* Residential experience will be considered advantageous
* Demonstrated knowledge of construction methodology, project management principles and project delivery methods
* Proficient interpersonal and communication skills
* Good commercial acumen and analytical thinking
