About the Opportunity
Racing.com is looking for aVideo Editorto join our Post-Production team on a casual basis from September to November, with the possibility for a longer-term commitment.
You\'ll play a key role in assembling and delivering broadcast-ready segments for our daily program,Raceday Reviewas well as delivering post-race interview content to our website.
This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, live event environment, where attention to detail, time efficiency, and meeting hard deadlines come together to deliver racing content to a national audience.
You\'ll be working 2–3 days per week.
This includes a guaranteed shift every Wednesday (12–8pm) on location at Docklands Studios.
The remaining days are to be determined but the successful candidate will be required to work weekend shifts as well within the same hours.
There is a possibility for this work to be done remotely in the future, but will be on-site to start.
About You
You\'re a technically confident video editor who\'s comfortable with tight turnarounds and problem solving.
You have broadcast or digital media experience and understand the importance of delivering to set deadlines to meet broadcast grid airings.
You thrive in collaborative environments but can also work independently with minimal direction.

You\'ll Bring
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Media Encoder
A sharp eye for detail, ensuring content passes QC with minimal revisions
Strong organisational and time management skills
A proactive attitude and ability to solve problems under pressure
Familiarity with production workflows and file management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A passion for racing is a plus, but not essential
Key Responsibilities
Assemble Raceday Review segments using race replays, graphics, and post-race interviews
Edit to time and ensure segments meet delivery and quality requirements
Export and submit final edits for QC ahead of deadlines
Action any required revisions and resubmit quickly
Export and upload post-race interviews with jockeys and trainers to digital platforms
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth post-production workflow
