Service Delivery Executive
We're partnering with a global technology leader to recruit a Service Delivery Executive (SDE) for a long-term Defence engagement based in Canberra. This is a rare opportunity to lead enterprise-scale delivery initiatives across an extensive and strategically important Defence customer portfolio.
About the Role
This 12-month contract role will see you embedded within a national account team driving delivery outcomes and customer integration across multiple programs and BAU initiatives. Acting as the key point of execution for a complex Defence account, you'll be working closely with senior internal stakeholders and client executives to shape and deliver effective, large-scale programs.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with sales, services, and technical leaders to execute delivery strategies and drive customer success
* Lead client-facing engagements, representing delivery leadership at a senior level
* Translate business needs into actionable delivery plans and proactively manage execution risks
* Navigate cross-functional environments to resolve competing priorities and align delivery with strategic outcomes
* Present progress, performance metrics, and delivery updates to internal and external stakeholders
* Maintain strong working knowledge of Defence sector frameworks and delivery environments
What We're Looking For
* 10+ years' experience delivering large, complex programs within Defence or similar secure environments
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to influence at senior levelsDemonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams across enterprise programs
* Excellent communication and strategic thinking capability
* Proven ability to operate autonomously in complex delivery environments
* A confident and credible delivery professional who thrives in high-impact roles
Security Clearance
Minimum NV2 clearance is required. Candidates with TSPV will be highly regarded.
Location
Canberra – Hybrid work arrangements considered. Onsite presence required as per client needs.
Engagement Type
12-month daily rate contract, with strong potential for extension.
