Maintenance Officer
We are currently searching for a skilled and highly motivated Maintenance Officer to join our organisation in a full-time capacity.
About the Opportunity
Support the development of the Council's building asset strategies by assisting with technical maintenance planning and the implementation of identified work plans. This includes helping with the maintenance planning and scheduling processes to effectively use a contractor-based workforce.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with the development of maintenance schedules and work plans for Council buildings and infrastructure.
* Work with contractors to implement planned maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
* Conduct inspections and assessments to identify areas requiring maintenance or repair.
* Develop and maintain records of maintenance activities, including reporting and statistical analysis.
Requirements
* A minimum Certificate IV qualification in building, facility management, project management, essential safety measures or construction related discipline or substantial experience in a related field.
* Knowledge and/or experience in building maintenance, programmed maintenance, essential safety measures and inspection services.
* Knowledge and/or experience in asset management systems, data collection and database management and/or CAD systems.
* High level customer service skills and experience.
* Experience in working to timeframes and reporting requirements.
* Hold a current satisfactory Police Check or willing to obtain one.
* Current Driver's Licence.
