About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Warehouse Lead to run day-to-day operations at our Queensland facility. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll take ownership of warehouse performance, team supervision, and client service delivery. You'll work closely with our QLD Site Manager to drive operational excellence and support the continued growth of our business.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all aspects of warehouse operations including receival, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch
* Lead, mentor, and develop the warehouse team to achieve performance targets
* Ensure inventory accuracy and maintain high standards of stock management
* Drive WHS compliance and foster a strong safety culture across the site
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring service levels are consistently met
* Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
* Coordinate with transport and customer service teams to ensure seamless end-to-end delivery
* Report on operational KPIs and contribute to strategic planning initiatives
What You'll Bring
Essential:
* Proven experience as a Warehouse Lead, Supervisor, or similar role within a 3PL environment
* Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control
* Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
* Solid knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset
* Strong communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships
Desirable:
* Experience in transport operations or linehaul coordination
* Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
* Experience with Infor WMS or similar platforms
