Job DescriptionOur valued client, AussiePhil Engineering Welding & Fabrication, is a trusted provider of high-quality welding and fabrication solutions based in Perth, Western Australia. With a commitment to excellence, integrity, and collaboration, they deliver professional services that meet the diverse needs of industrial, commercial, and construction projects. AussiePhil Engineering Welding & Fabrication is seeking experienced and skilled WELDERS & METAL FABRICATORS to join their growing team.
The successful candidates will be responsible for performing high-quality fabrication and welding work in accordance with technical drawings and Australian industry standards. The salary will be offered between $76,000 – $90,000 per annum, commensurate with skills and experience.
Responsibilities
* Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
* Mark out, cut, shape and assemble metal components using hand tools and machinery.
* Perform Metal Inert Gas (MIG), Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG), and Stick welding to a high standard.
* Fabricate structural steel and custom metal components.
* Repair and maintain metal structures and equipment.
* Operate workshop machinery, including grinders, drills, presses, and cutting tools.
* Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with project specifications.
* Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
* Work collaboratively within a team environment to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications & Experience
* Must have a relevant qualification equivalent to a Certificate III in Engineering (Fabrication Trade) or related field.
* Should have a minimum of two to three (2–3) years of relevant industry experience.
* Demonstrated experience in structural steel and general fabrication.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
