This position will be based at our workshop in New Gisborne, Victoria. Located North-West of Melbourne.
Due to our expanding business in Australia, we are seeking a new Bookkeeper/Finance Support to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to the safety and quality of our products, specifically focusing on couplers. You will be responsible for the finance operations within the organisation. You will work closely with the local management team, the finance team in Sweden and the external accountants. Your tasks will include the ability to develop an understanding of the local SAP system, for which you will receive training, and you will require a high level of attention to detail.
Your role will involve:
* Recording and Monitoring transactions
* Payment of Supplier Invoices
* Monthly Reconciliation of accounts including supporting documentation
* Intracompany Matching of AR and AP
* Accrual of Revenue and Expenses
* Manage Fixed Asset Register
* Support in Annual Audit
We expect that:
* You have relevant work experience or a similar background
* You are proficient in bookkeeping tasks
* You are fluent in spoken and written English
* You have good analytical skills and attention to detail.
* You are computer literate including proficiency in MS Office Suite
