**About the opportunity**
Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, this role will ensure the condition and appearance of our facility are of the highest standard to provide a pleasant and safe environment for residents, staff and visitors.
- Hands-on repairs and maintenance
- Management and co-ordination of maintenance of the building and its environment
- High level of customer service to residents
- Maintenance of records and reports
- Budget management
- Comply with current legislative standards around maintenance, aged care workplace health & safety and manual handling
**To be successful, you will have**
- Experience in maintenance and grounds duties, preferably in an aged care environment
- Relevant Certificate IV qualification or relevant experience
- Current valid drivers' licence
- Evidence of Australian work rights
- NDIS workers Screen (or willing to obtain)
- 2024 Flu Vaccination (or willing to obtain)
- Evidence of Covid-19 vaccinations
- A pre-employment medical assessment may be required for this role
