About the role We are seeking a motivated Technical Officer: Nursing Simulation to provide technical support to the clinical simulation activities and laboratories within the School of Nursing and to maintain the laboratories, ensuring that the spaces and equipment are functional and safe. The position is responsible for the nursing simulation operations at their relevant campus and reports to the Nursing Simulation Manager. What you will bring You will have completed a degree or associate diploma with relevant work experience (such as allied health, nursing or applied science), or have equivalent experience or a combination of relevant experience and education/training. A working knowledge of general simulation equipment, including training aids such as nursing manikins is required. You should also have demonstrated ability to use initiative in planning and prioritising multiple tasks and projects to work to deadlines. While experience with software programs applicable to simulation teaching and experience setting up clinical simulations in simulation centres is desirable, it is not essential.
