HD FITTER : The Role
You'll work across a wide range of heavy mining and civil gear including but not limited to:
* CAT loaders, dozers, moxys
* Frannas, body trucks & various ancillary equipment
* Cummins power gen
* Various mobile plant used across a large-scale NT mining operation
You won't be left on your own each fitter is teamed up with an experienced service person, making the workflow smoother, safer and far more enjoyable.
This is a fast-paced, rewarding role where your skills are genuinely valued.
Roster & Conditions
* 2:2 roster
* Camp-style accommodation provided
* Living and messing at the mine camp, with the bonus of being in an actual town — if you feel like a counter meal and a cold beer after work, you're only minutes away
* Flights paid Alice Springs, Darwin or Katherine
* Weekly pay
* 12.5-hour days
* 12 hours paid on fly-in day
* Hours worked paid on fly-out day
What We're Looking For
* Trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Fitter / Plant Mechanic
* Strong diagnostics and repair capabilities across heavy plant (CAT, Komatsu, Cummins etc.)
* Safety-focused, proactive work ethic
* Able to work independently and within a small, supportive team
* Someone who wants a crew that treats you like an adult — common-sense rules, flexibility, and mutual respect
