**About the role...**
We currently have a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer in our Canberra offices. This role will responsible for providing high-quality services and achieving efficiencies. Directly engaged in the operations of the business, the role is accountable for enhancing the reputation and image of Evolve FM through exemplary customer interaction and service delivery.
**Key responsibilities will include**:
- Distribution of daily mail, coding invoices, check and confirm bank reconciliations, lease outgoing reconciliations, etc.
- Maintain and monitor accounts payable for designated clients.
- Assist Finance Administrator with client reporting and other ad hoc tasks.
- Ensure void cheques are actioned according to finance guidelines.
- Provide a high level of customer service to the clients, third parties and other staff members
- Maintain high level of accuracy and attention to detail and you will manage a designated mailbox for accounts payable
**About you...**
- Excellent communication skills - telephone, written and in person are essential.
- At least intermediate level of competency in office products such as Word and Excel
- Must be able to 'own' responsibilities and processes
- Must show initiative
- The ability to work within tight deadlines and to prioritise workload is essential
- Experience contributing to a culture of inclusion and high performance
- Sound written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage deliverables on a daily basis
