Senior Business Analyst
Contract | 6 Months

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a complex digital delivery environment for an initial six month contract. This role is suited to a hands-on analyst who is confident operating at both strategic and delivery levels, working across stakeholders, delivery teams and technical specialists.
You will play a key role in analysing business needs, shaping solutions and supporting the delivery of high-quality outcomes across enterprise systems, data and digital initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead business analysis activities across complex programs and projects
* Engage with senior stakeholders to elicit, analyse, validate and document business requirements
* Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions and stakeholder interviews
* Develop high-quality artefacts including:
* Business requirements and functional specifications
* User stories and acceptance criteria
* Process models (current and future state)
* Impact assessments and traceability matrices
* Work closely with technical teams to ensure requirements are feasible, clear and testable
* Support delivery through UAT planning, defect triage, and benefits realisation
* Contribute to continuous improvement of BA practices and standards
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst on complex ICT or digital transformation initiatives
* Strong background in custom software delivery (not solely COTS implementations)
* Demonstrated experience working in Agile and/or hybrid delivery environments
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
* Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements
* Strong documentation and communication skills
* Experience working within government or large enterprise environments is highly regarded
Desirable Experience
* Enterprise systems, data, integration, or platform modernisation programs
* Change impact analysis and business readiness activities
* Working across multi-disciplinary delivery teams
