Teacher of Science
Full time, fixed-term position for 2026.
Melbourne Grammar School is seeking a passionate Teacher of Science to spark curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and nurture a lifelong passion for Science in our students. This is a full-time fixed-term role commencing in Term 1, 2026.
This role will see you
* Inspire and foster a passion and appreciation of learning
* Work as a pedagogical educator, committed to driving and sharing best practice with other teachers in the Department
* Facilitate the exploration of student interests, fostering the pursuit of academic and personal growth
* Support the individual wellbeing of our students.
You will:
* Have experience teaching Science and a passion for the education of students from Years 7 to 12
* Work in partnership to deliver exceptional educational experiences we offer our students
* Collaborate with others to educate and nurture the whole person, fostering each student's intellectual, spiritual, physical, psychological and emotional growth
* Use your skills to actively contribute to co-curricular activities.
VIT registration, or the ability to gain VIT registration, is essential.
