About the Role
As a key team member, you will play a crucial part in designing and delivering hydraulic services documents for a diverse range of building projects. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the drafting process from concept through to construction, ensuring that all project phases meet the required standards of design quality, consistency, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the hydraulic documentation process across various projects
• Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD documents for hydraulic services designs, including pen or PDF markups, from basic documents for concept stages to coordinated and accurate designs for construction
• Collaborate with internal designers, engineers, administrators, and other drafting team members to ensure high-quality project completion by deadlines
• Review consultant and client markups, providing feedback and input on changes and inefficiencies
Candidate Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
• Proficiency in engineering drafting using CAD software
• Experience with AutoCAD and REVIT, preferably within Australia's building services sector
• Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, the Building Code of Australia, and relevant industry regulations
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to maintaining a high standard of work and attention to detail
