The Role
Location: Torrensville SA
Duration: 18-month full time Traineeship
As a Property Officer Trainee, you will work closely with the Property and Logistics team providing effective support across a range of property management and building maintenance activities. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and excellent service delivery.
Under the guidance of experienced mentors, your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate and perform regular and ad-hoc maintenance across PCU properties
- Respond promptly to staff requests for building and property services
- Manage internal mail and outgoing deliveries with accuracy and timeliness
- Conduct daily “town run” duties including mail collection, stock checks, and deliveries
- Maintain filing systems and ensure integrity of member records
- Support recycling and environmental initiatives
About You
To be successful in this Traineeship, you will need:
- Strong internal customer service focus and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
- Great attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and contribute to a high-performing team
- Intermediate MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Role Requirements
- Driver’s licence (P Plate or above) and access to a reliable vehicle
- Forklift licence (desirable)
- Manual handling training (or willingness to obtain)
