Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Waste Management Officer. This role will involve assisting in the delivery of waste programs and contributing to waste reduction, increased recycling, and enhanced management systems for waste services.
The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for all community waste enquiries, develop and deliver engaging waste education programs that encourage correct waste behaviours, organise and host waste education events in partnership with schools, community groups, internal teams, and external stakeholders, conduct waste audits and inspections to support data-driven decision-making, and provide strong influencing skills to drive decisions and outcomes.

* Serve as the first point of contact for all community waste enquiries.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
* Flexible to work outside standard hours.
* Current National Police Clearance and WA C Class driver's licence.
