You will be responsible for generating data-driven reports, providing valuable insights, and supporting decision-making processes. This role involves collecting, analysing, and interpreting large datasets to produce clear, actionable insights that enhance business performance.Key Responsibility Areas:Work closely with team and internal stakeholders to understand their reporting needsPartner with IT and data engineering teams to improve data accessibility, quality, and reporting toolsData Collection & Analysis:Assist in the maintenance of a comprehensive understanding of the organisation's data and metricsGather data from multiple sourcesClean, validate, and process data to ensure accuracy and consistencyDevelop and operate customer, client or industry research and surveysManage supplier relationships and develop ongoing researchReporting & Forecasting:Develop and maintain regular dashboards, reports, and scorecards to monitor KPIsCreate ad-hoc reports as requested by internal stakeholders, ensuring clarity and relevanceAssist in forecasting and predictive analytics to support business planningData Insights & Recommendations:Drive data-driven decision-making processes by conducting in-depth analyses of business dataAnalyse business trends and performance metrics to uncover growth opportunities and areas of improvementProvide actionable insights and strategic recommendations based on data findingsCreate and promote effective information sharingFoster a customer-centric mindsetIncorporate lean and design thinking methodologiesDevelop and implement data visualization tools and self-serve dashboards to effectively communicate data insights using Microsoft Dynamics / Power BILeverage Excel, SQL, Python, R, or other data tools for advanced analytics and automationEnsure proper documentation of reporting processes and methodologiesStay up-to-date and comply with data reporting and governance obligationsIdentify opportunities to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting processesWhat you'll bring:Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business, Economics, or a related fieldExcellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights to a non-technical audienceExperience with Agile development methodologiesExperience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and experience with data processing languages like Python or R is a plus3+ years of experience in a data analytics, reporting, or business intelligence roleStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyKnowledge of business processes and the ability to align insights with business goalsWhat matters most?
