We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Services Officer to join our team in Deception Bay, reporting to the Trade Service Centre Manager.
As a key member of the team, you will thrive in an environment where service, sales and customer solutions are paramount. This role puts you as the face of our company and engages with the local community. You will be involved in sales and enquiries, merchandising, and liaising with customers and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide excellence in customer service and the customer journey
* Welcome new and existing customers into our showrooms
* Actively promote our products to generate sales
* Merchandise and replenish stock
* Process sale orders, generate quotations, and engage with e‐commerce and social media
* Manage service centre and office operations
* Troubleshoot and resolve enquiries via phone and email quickly and efficiently
* Control stock in the warehouse
* Coordinate production with factory staff
* Coordinate logistics (transport and deliveries)
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders and handle difficult customers
* Perform general administration duties
Qualifications and Skills
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Previous experience in a retail, hardware or trade environment; steel industry experience highly regarded but not essential
* Face‐to‐face selling experience and an entrepreneurial spirit
* Highly organized, great at multitasking and strong attention to detail
* Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
* Works well in a team yet capable of independent work
* Can work under pressure
* Driver's licence essential
