Overview
There is an opportunity for you to become part of the exciting tropical plant industries of the Northern Territory (NT). Working as part of a Territory-wide research development and extension (RD&E) team, you will be able to put your knowledge and skills into practice and contribute to advancing and servicing the needs of this vital economic sector.
Position
The Department of Agriculture and Fisheries is seeking a Technical Officer to assist with the establishment, implementation and management of field trials in the Top End and Central Australia. The position is temporary, part time and will be based in Alice Springs.
This position will involve regular travel by road to rural properties; therefore, the successful applicant will need to have a current driver's licence to drive a manual vehicle or the equivalent of a Northern Territory C class licence.
