Arias Disability Care Pty Ltd is a registered NDIS provider committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred services. We are expanding our allied health team and are seeking an experienced and passionate Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner (PBSP) to provide evidence-based behaviour support services under the NDIS framework.

The Role

As a PBSP, you will support individuals with disability who may present with behaviours of concern by conducting functional behaviour assessments, developing Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs), and implementing positive, person-centred strategies. You will also work closely with families, carers, and support workers to build their capacity in supporting participants.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behaviour Support Plans.
* Deliver person-centred, evidence-based strategies that focus on skill development and quality of life.
* Provide training, coaching, and capacity building to families, carers, and support staff.
* Ensure compliance with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission's requirements.
* Maintain accurate and professional documentation and reports.
* Collaborate with other allied health professionals to ensure holistic participant support.

About You

* Minimum qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, or a related allied health field.
* Must be registered with AHPRA (if applicable to your profession).
* Meet the NDIS Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework.
* Experience in behaviour support and writing BSPs under the NDIS.
* Strong interpersonal, training, and coaching skills.
* Driver's licence and willingness to travel within QLD.
* Blue Card, NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
