In this role, you will be responsible for:
* On the ground project execution, overseeing daily tasks to ensure works are delivered in line with our commitments.
* Leading, motivating, and mentoring onsite crews
* Identifying, resolving, and pre-empting onsite challenges, ensuring minimal disruption to works.
* Collaborating closely with project managers, site engineers, and HSEQ Coordinators to ensure project documentation is accurate and complete.
* When needed, engaging with our Estimating team to develop methodologies during the tendering process.
* Compliance with all site HSEQ requirements, because you believe everyone should make it home safely every day.
What you'll need to succeed:
* A love for demolition – There's nowhere else you'd rather be.
3 – 5+ years' experience as a Demolition or Asbestos Supervisor on Australian projects.
* Current Demolition and Asbestos Supervisor Licences (Class A or B preferred), Current Driver's Licence, and White Card.
* Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and ability to use relevant IT systems.
* Understand the complexities of decommissioning and demolition in unique environments and happy to rise to any challenge.
* Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to engage, lead, and mentor teams.
* Hands-on experience in demolition operations, including machinery and hazardous material handling.
* Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on efficiency, quality, and safety.
* Excellent interpersonal skills that enable you to communicate confidently with clients, project managers, and your crew.
* Willingness to FIFO for projects, if required.
* Resource sector and heavy industry experienced is preferred.
* Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of performance on the job.
