Head Chef - Relief
$38.35 per hour inclusive of casual loading
Responsibilities
- Relief role working across several aged care facilities
- Various shift times and patterns, as this role provides relief coverage
- Food preparation, cooking, and presentation of all food offerings
- Ensure daily adherence to safety and hygiene processes to maintain a safe, allergen-aware environment that meets food safety standards and accommodates diverse customer needs, including texture-modified foods
- Actively maintain a complete awareness and desire for nutrition and healthy eating
- Provide exceptional customer service for residents and their families
- Building and leveraging positive customer and client relationships to achieve our partnership objectives
The Person
- Previous kitchen management experience in a similar role - strong leadership qualities, collaborative management skills and a passion for food
- Experience in HACCP, food safety and infection control
- Proactive and solution-oriented with a positive leadership style, adaptable, open to feedback, and excellent at time management in dynamic environments
- Cert. III Commercial Cookery
- Food safety Supervisory certificate
- National Police Check
