Mechanical Assembler - Agricultural Spraying Equipment
About the roleThis is an exciting opportunity to join BA Pumps & Sprayers as an Assembler. As a member of the production team, you will be joining a small team of assemblers and ensuring the efficient and high-quality assembly of products at our Geelong, Victoria facility. This full-time role offers excellent opportunities for career development in a dynamic and growing manufacturing environment.
What you'll be doing
* Assemble a variety of Agricultural spraying equipment ranging from small 12 volt products, basic linkage sprayers to large custom truck sprayers
* Sub-Assembly of basic components for spray units
* Test, diagnose and repair assembly faults
* Keep a safe and organised work environment and adhere to all health and safety protocols
What we're looking for
* Several years of experience in a similar assembly or manufacturing role
* Experience using both hand and power tools
* Strong technical skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality workmanship. A mechanical background is highly desirable
* Excellent communication and the ability to work as part of a team
* Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve production issues
* Familiarity with manufacturing processes, quality control, and workplace health and safety practices
* Commitment to continuous improvement and a collaborative mindset
