Join ALS Coal – Bowen Basin as a Permanent Quality Coal Tester
We are currently seeking two (2) Quality Coal Testers to join our well-established Laboratory Testing team in the Bowen Basin on a permanent basis. This role operates on a 7-days on / 7-days off roster and is Drive-in Drive-out (DIDO) from Mackay.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Collecting production and train samples across the site.
* Conducting a variety of coal testing methods, including
* Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, including
* Validating results and ensuring they meet accuracy and repeatability standards.
* Adhering strictly to Quality Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
* Prioritising safety and efficient turnaround of test results.
* Maintaining a clean, well-organised lab and work area.
What We're Looking For:
* A strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Excellent communication and reliability.
* Previous coal testing or laboratory experience (highly regarded).
* A valid Driver's Licence.
* Willingness to work 12-hour shifts on a 7/7 roster.
