About the role:
We are currently seeking a Community Support Worker Domestic to join our friendly and supportive Home and Community Care team and work in North Metropolitan areas of Stirling, Midland, Kallaroo, Joondalup, Kingsley, Tapping and surrounding suburbs.
The current opportunities are available, on a permanent part time basis:
* Stirling surrounding areas 20 hours per fortnight
* Midland surrounding areas 20 hours per fortnight
* Joondalup surrounding areas 20 hours per fortnight
* Joondalup surrounding areas 20 hours per fortnight
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide direct support and assistance to customers with cleaning and meal preparation
* Assist and encourage customers with communication and socialization
* Social Support, including transport to shops or appointments
* Adherence to Client Care Plan and complete documentation
* Maintain compliance with Juniper policies and procedures
* Compliance with Occupational, Safety and Health requirements
Key Requirements:
* A reliable vehicle and current Australian driver's license – essential
* Certificate III Aged Care or Dementia Care Course - desirable
* Understand documentation and relevant aged care legislation
* Understand principles of Occupational, Safety & Health and correct manual handling
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
