Job Opportunity:
The Women's Health Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 position is a challenging role that requires expertise in women's health clinical services, education, and community development. As an expert clinician, educator, consultant, mentor, and clinical care supervisor, you will be responsible for facilitating and delivering effective and efficient women's health clinical services to the population most at risk of poor health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing and providing women's health education, community development and health promotion programs
* Facilitating weekly Family Planning Clinics with our VMO
About You:
You must have current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia with relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years' experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification. You should also have a demonstrated understanding of the issues affecting marginalised women and their risk of poor health outcomes, including domestic & family violence and sexual assault on women, their children and families in mainstream and Aboriginal communities.

This is a Category A position. Recommended applicants will be reviewed for compliance with NSW Health policy directive for Category A positions prior to offer. Salary will be in accordance with NSW Health State Awards for the advertised classification/s.
