About the Role
This full-time position involves working in various wards and departments, including surgical, medical, theatre, intensive care unit, emergency department, hemodialysis, oncology, day procedure unit, specialist consulting suite, child and adolescent unit, special care nursery, radiology, district nursing, outlying hospital rotations, and mental health.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to established standards and policies.
* Develop strong relationships with colleagues, patients, and their families.
* Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
* Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A current registration as a Registered Nurse or Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Relevant qualifications and experience in nursing/midwifery.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
* Capacity to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
